DIFFERENT KITTEN LOOKS…

The appearance of the exotic kitten is one of the key factors that attracts people and encourages them to adopt them. According to the saying, ‘First impression is the best impression’ the very first look of the kittens should be such that it attracts everyone at first sight. Some of the best known varieties of kittens are American Short Hair, Persian, Russian Blue, etc. They started studying the nature and qualities of these species. After getting an ideas about the type of cross breeds which where going to be performed they crossed the American Short Hair and Persian in the late 1950’s.

This exotic kitten has the qualities of both the American Short Hair and Persian breeds. It had the brisk appearance of an exotic kitten with a short hair, dense coat and thick skin. The breed did appeal to the masses because of its built stature and bold looks. Another try of crossing breeding was made with the Burmese breed in 1987 and the Persian breed which had almost the same feature of the Persian breed but with dense coat and the same short hair as the Burmese kitten.

Kittens’ appearance can be made according to the kind of master who is going to nurture it. For example the Bengalis, which has a look similar to the young cub of cheetah but has the same characteristics as the domestic cat. Most of the time it makes the sound ‘meow’ but sometimes it also barks exhibiting the suppressed nature of the wild tamed animal too.
